Visitors from North America

We have been welcoming international groups to Aigas Field Centre for over 25 years. We are particularly proud of the links we have forged with groups from the United States who have been visiting us from the very beginning. Harvard University, The Smithsonian Associates Travel Programme, National Audubon Society, National Wildlife Federation, and Connecticut College Arboretum are just a few of the institutes who have explored the Highlands with us.

We have forged especially strong links with Elderhostel who return year after year with their groups of adventurous travellers to see the wild Highlands and Islands of Scotland. We have included  a selection of photographs taken by recent visitors from the US as part of a 2005 Elderhostel “Land, Sea & Skye” programme in our Photo Album.

We have built up a wealth of experience in designing and delivering challenging, educational and exciting itineraries for large international groups. Most of our core staff team (including Sir John) have spent some time resident in the United States so we have a thorough understanding of the standards you expect from us. Our comfortable cabins were designed specifically with the comfort of international visitors in mind.

If you are visiting from the United States alone, with a small group of friends or family, or as part of a larger group, trust Aigas to bring the Highlands to life for you.

Over the years we have had the great pleasure of working with a large number of  American groups (see Links for details).
