Environmental Education for Schools and Families

We are passionate about environmental education and are Scotland's premier environmental education centre for schools, school-age children and families.

We help children to learn about nature and the environment in a fun and inspiring way. To us this means, engaging, stimulating and imaginative games and hands-on activities for children of all ages and abilities.

Environmental education at Aigas is provided by Naturedays, a Scottish registered charity. This work is supported by generous grants from the Aigas Trust and Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and is subsidised by income generated by our adult holiday programmes. These subsidies allow us to welcome 4,000 school children annually to Aigas to discover the natural world around them.
