'At the Water's Edge'

To celebrate the publication of John Lister-Kaye's latest book 'At The Water's Edge', this one-off programme will give you the opportunity to join the author, exploring the wonderful habitats and wildlife that have inspired one of Britain's foremost nature writers.
Sir John will introduce you to his beloved Highlands and show you around the Aigas estate, which has been the home of Aigas Field Centre for over 30 years.
You will get the chance to see the landmarks and local species that feature so prominently in 'At The Water's Edge' and its predecessors 'Song of the Rolling Earth' and 'Nature's Child', plus visiting local wildlife hotspots to look for iconic Scottish species such as the majestic Golden Eagle and the charismatic Bottle-nosed Dolphin escorted by our knowledgeable ranger team.
After a sumptuous dinner, evening activities will include 'Book at Bedtime' readings given by John, with extracts from his own works and his favourite books, plus visits to our Pine Marten and Beaver hides to see these shy nocturnal mammals for yourself.
As an added bonus, all guests will receive a FREE first edition hardback copy of 'At The Water's Edge' signed by the author.
