Whoopers!

The Whoopers are gathering! Some hundreds of whooper swans have been feeding in the stubble fields just outside Beauly for the last few days. They are just about to migrate back to Iceland, where they will breed over the summer.
Its a privilege to see them so close and in such numbers and I couldn't resist stopping to take a couple of photos.
