Nature Photography Masterclass with Laurie Campbell

[envira-gallery id="843"] Laurie’s masterclasses are limited to a maximum of six participants. The programmes are designed for those who are already proficient with their cameras and are looking for more specialised help, both with specific technical information, and in developing their fieldcraft skills. Practical tuition sessions will include guidance on all aspects of macro photography, different uses of electronic flash and triggering systems and improvised hide construction and usage. Most outings will offer opportunities for specific technical tuition from Laurie, as well as use of the Aigas hides which are targeted at specific species. Participants of this course are invited to bring any existing portable hides or specialist equipment they already own.

The Famous Aigas Wildlife Week

Each week will be based at Aigas and will spend six full days (7 nights) exploring the stunning hills, glens, forests, coasts and marshes of the Highlands producing breathtaking encounters with eagles, pine martens, otters, black throated divers, deer, crossbills, badgers and much more. Programmes shift with the turning season, specialising on whatever aspect of wildlife is current. Our highly trained and qualified rangers will escort you in small groups to share the wonders of the wild Highlands. All Aigas Wildlife guests will enjoy an optimal number of eight guests to one ranger both in the field and on the road. Nature Photography Workshop with Laurie Campbell

[envira-gallery id="843"] Now limited to only ten participants, this course is suitable for everyone from very proficient photographers to relative beginners in the dSLR world. This year the workshops are in spring and autumn - timed to coincide with the most productive times of year to be out photographing landscapes and natural history subjects in the Scottish Highlands. The range of possible wildlife subjects is extensive and will also include a well balanced mixture of opportunities to photograph fungi and landscape subjects too. Highland Wildlife Art Course with Jackie Garner

With such a plethora of wildlife on the doorstep Aigas is ideally situated for a Highland Wildlife Art Course. We invite you to join Jackie Garner - one of the UK’s leading wildlife artists and author of The Wildlife Artist's Handbook - on a week of studying, sketching and painting a variety of Highland animals and plants. Through a range of field trips you will experience first hand some of our best wildlife and have the opportunity to study and sketch it at length before returning to our light filled studio space to continue working on your painting. Jackie will guide you through approach and technique and tutor you throughout the week. She will also give a series of demonstrations and presentations aimed at improving your skills.
