I stayed at Aigas for 7 nights. nothing was too much trouble for Sir John and Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye. All the rangers are highly motivated, doing a job they love. Where else can you see beaver kits, otters, eagles and buzzards, dissect owl pellets, track badgers, wait for hours for pine martins, and identify moths. An Eco dolphin boat trip was also included. The food is second to none, and included breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal. All the staff were friendly. The accomodation was very clean in log cabins, with private bathroom and kitchenette. highly recommended to any bird/wildlife enthusiast.

We stayed for a week in October and can't wait to book another holiday here. Lord John, Lady Lucy, Warwick, the rangers and guides and every member of staff couldn't have done more to make sure our holiday was as good as it could be. We absolutely loved the log cabins which were warm and cosy and totally in keeping with the ethos of Aigas - lots of space, everything we needed, a kitchen area with hospitality tray and a really comfortable living area for everyone to meet if they wanted, all set in the wonderful grounds of Aigas House. We went there for the Highland House Party week and had changeable weather but that didn't affect our enjoyment in any way. Every day was a different expereincve and we could wax lyrical for pages and pages - the food was wonderful and every consideration was made for special diets and likes and dislikes. The wildlife and scenery were really amazing and the whole experience was quite unlike anything we had experienced before. We cannot wait to return in 2014. If you have the chance to attend one of the open days - jump at it, you won't be disappointed

The first thing that struck us was that the friendliness of the staff and hosts was still as good as it had been when we went there some three years ago. Lady Lucy's one wish seemed to be that she wanted our holiday week to be as good as possible and to that end could not do enough for us whether it was a change of menu or the need for an extra pillow. We were there for a garden and wild flower week going out in a small group with a big packed lunch we chose ourselves from a variety of items with a very knowledgeable ranger to help us with local history and names of flowers which they knew the whereabouts of. Sir John added to the mix with a dry sense of humour. It was not all wild flowers as we saw some spectacular scenery, visited private gardens and listened to interesting talks. It seemed that they were there to give you the holiday you want in the way that you want it.
