The Scottish Wildlife Trust organised a day visit to Aigas Field Centre. The house and Beaver-stoked loch are the mos memorable aspects of the day, and the food, served by Lady Lister-Kaye was outstanding. School kids visit regularly, and the grounds are open a few times a year as part of the Scotland Gardens Scheme. Take any opportunity to go and experience the expertise of the naturalists who staff the Field Centre.

I am so please that I finally got to stay at Aigas Field Centre. I did the Walking and Wildlife week which was a wonderful experience. There is a lot of wildlife on the estate including badgers, deer, pine martens and Scottish wildcats which are part of a breeding programme. We saw birds and other wildlife on the walks too.Sir John, Lady Lucy and their daughter Hermione were great hosts and were extremely hospitable. Everything is very organised in terms of meal timings and excursions. They will cater for different diets. The staff do a fantastic job and are on top of everything.The rangers are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic - it was a pleasure spending time with them. I would highly recommend staying at Aigas Field Centre - other guests seemed very happy with their experiences too. Many of them had been several times before. I hope to visit again in the future.

Once again I have had a wonderful week in the company of great people The field centre is a great place to learn about nature and relax with nature. The animal sightings are with out doubt exceptional. The ranger staffs knowledge of the country , its history and its geology are unrivalled. Their understanding of the animals and there habitats is exceptional. The accommodation and the food is very good. A real family atmosphere. Time spent with like minded people.
