Laurie Campbell is widely recognised as Scotland’s foremost nature photographer. He has been running wildlife photography courses at Aigas for two decades and they have gained a superb reputation. His courses also include one-to-one reviews and photo-editing sessions.
From start to finish, the week's course was excellent: the wonderfully warm Aigas welcome from Sir John and Lady Lucy and their team, the delicious food, comfortable accommodation and, of course, the prime reason for booking this particular course - Laurie Campbell's excellent tuition. I learnt a lot in a variety of wildlife locations and in a very relaxing environment. It was my third visit to Aigas and I hope there will be other opportunities to return - one day the Aigas badgers will put in an appearance for me!

The thing that bowled me over about Aigas wasn’t the daily ospreys or the peregrine on its eyrie or the glorious peanut-eating pine martens – my first ever. More than anything it was the passion for sharing nature that came through among all the young staff. It permeated the place. It was infectious. And it had its origins in the commitment shown by every member of the Lister-Kaye family.
