Congratulations to the hugely dedicated Aigas staff who all teach the importance of our connectedness with nature – that we are a part of it, not apart from it.

A jewel in the conservation crown – this is a most remarkable project, rooted in some of Scotland’s most spellbinding scenery. The range of wildlife – from beavers to eagles – is extraordinarily sensitive. I shall return!

The thing that bowled me over about Aigas wasn’t the daily ospreys or the peregrine on its eyrie or the glorious peanut-eating pine martens – my first ever. More than anything it was the passion for sharing nature that came through among all the young staff. It permeated the place. It was infectious. And it had its origins in the commitment shown by every member of the Lister-Kaye family.

Aigas is a place like no other. Time spent here is time with friends, rich in natural rewards, it’s a place of stimulation, inspiration, learning and cake. And the wildlife ain’t bad either!

Aigas is the perfect natural playground for a family. Where else do you have otters, beavers, pine martens and a wealth of birdlife all in one place? I felt complete freedom in letting my children roam and explore the natural wilderness there and make their own remarkable discoveries.

What an amazing few days these have been. What you are doing here – spreading awareness and love of nature is FANTASTIC! I love it.

I’ve just been watching pine martens in the Aigas hide. I don’t think we truly appreciate nature unless we witness it, feel it, smell it and touch it for ourselves, an awareness fixed by a skipped heartbeat, a drawn breath or a dropped jaw. Aigas has some of the most exciting fauna our isles have to offer and, in a stunning setting, gives people this intensity of experience thousands of times a year.

The future of wildlife is in our hands. At Aigas you can experience the joys and the excitement – and the wonder – of wild nature.

Beautiful Scotland Astonishing week with the Aigas team. Meeting like-minded people (some that had been before) the Rangers, the food, the Nature connection - all amazing. The accommodation was warm and cosy. The food was excellent. The staff could not have done more for all guests. The daily itinerary was clear and well thought out. Scotland’s wildlife then set the narrative of the week. The newly trained rangers were accompanied by experienced ones. Their shared knowledge and endless enthusiasm made the week so special. If you’re into nature and want to discover Scotland’s wildlife, geology and history then this is the holiday for you. Sit back, don’t worry about cooking or cleaning, enjoy the company and let Scotland tell her story. Thank you Aigas. I cannot wait to visit again.

AIGAS FIELD CENTER - BE A KID AGAIN AT A GREAT CAMP! I took the Home & Gardens tour during the week of my birthday in August, 2023. This is a FANTASTIC tour and I met so many wonderful people (5 others who came separately from England Scotland) and 16 others on a Rhodes Scholar trip from all over the U.S.). We got to see many beautiful homes (and castles!) and gardens in Scotland. Sometimes we'd go in a van for the day and the last day we even went by a beautiful, comfortable train to upper Scotland. It is kind of like being a kid in a camp except your own room and bath, great food for all meals (or picnic lunches to take!). I found out last year I am more Scottish than anything else, and I felt so very comfortable in Scotland and all the people I met. So many memories I made and I definitely want to return to Aigas! Sir John and Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye are amazing, professional, welcoming hosts. The rangers (taught there) are also nice and informative! I highly recommend it and NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENT!

I couldn't fault the guides. Their enthusiasm and knowledge (and willingness to find out if they didn't know) was a credit to all
