For the third year running I have enjoyed a great week at Aigas - this time with a friends group. The staff went out of their way to give us a really enjoyable week. The Pine Martens were rather shy but we had very good sightings of Eagles, other raptors, Red Deer, Seals and Dolphins, Aigas's own Scottish Wildcats as well as a host of birds.read moreread lessCharles K×Charles KFor the third year running I have enjoyed a great week at Aigas - this time with a friends group. Aigas is a very special and - to me - a unique place to stay Beautiful surroundings, excellent variety of activities, wonderful hospitality, good food. The Lister-Kaye family and staff are so welcoming and helpful Not only are the rangers well qualified In their chosen field, but knowledgeable about the local areas visited, as well as being delightful company, able to multi-task, and with good social skills. I will be returning for a third visit in 2016, and also joined an Aigas trip to Costa Rica. Our stay at Aigas is one of the most memorable vacations of my life. The food is amazing, the staff wonderful and the site is lovely. Eating in the baronial hall is a treat and I kept waiting for an owl to deliver mail ala Hogworts.
