Sophie’s passion for the outdoors and nature began with family holidays to the Cornish coast and the mountains of the Lake District. Wanting to combine a wide range of interests, from history to conservation, has led to her studying a degree in Human Sciences at the University of Exeter. Sophie is excited to continue learning about the role and impact of humans in the natural world, and to better understand how environmental education can change attitudes towards nature and further conservation initiatives. She wants to make the most of her time at Aigas by exploring the Scottish Highlands and lochs – with camera in hand and swimsuit at the ready.
