Aigas is just the most special place. All the staff are very friendly from the owners Sir John and Lady Lucy, the ranger team, and the lovely polish girls in the kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and we had a full, interesting and well tailored itinerary every single day. Each evening we'd return to dinner in the main hall, cooked by Lady Lucy - it is such a treat! Accommodation is in log cabins. These are relatively basic and rustic, but so warm and cosy - I have never slept so well! We will be back again very soon! We saw everything we wanted to see including amazing views of pine martens, beavers, deer, grouse, otters and golden eagles.read moreread lessMiranda P×Miranda P

I was here with a tour group for a week and cannot sing the praises of the environmental education program offered here. If you are looking for the best program on the West Highlands with top notch rangers as guides on history, archaeology, restoration, glorious gardens to stroll through, excellent meals and a location that blends all of the importance of the West Highlands together, Aigas is the best choice.read moreread lessChristine W×Christine W

From the time you arrive until you leave you are treated like family, royal family by Sr. John and Lady Lucy. The cabins in the woods are cozy and well appointed. The meals, mostly prepared by Lady Lucy are so wonderful you don't want to leave. A purchase of her cook book is a must! It is a beautiful central location to just enjoy the environment or to take day trip which they will arrange for you. Don't miss the wild life siting in the Hide House or the readings by Sr. John, a naturalist and author.read moreread lessSusan G×Susan G
