Louis Parkerson

Academic Placement Student

Louis grew up on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, where he developed a passion for nature, particularly birds, from a young age. Now studying Conservation Biology and Ecology at the University of Exeter, his primary interest lies in botany. In his spare time, Louis enjoys climbing mountains and roaming the local straths and glens in search of wildlife. Through his placement at Aigas Field Centre, he aims to deepen his understanding of ecosystem ecology, rewilding and Scottish history, aspiring to make a meaningful impact in conservation and inspire others to appreciate nature.
