Emilie is one of our longest-standing rangers, having started her journey at Aigas in 2017. From her initial love of nature conservation and birdwatching, her interests have developed to specialise in a range of subjects. She now has a fascination for Scottish history and a particular interest in the plant hunters of the Victorian era; anyone who spends a day out with Emilie is sure to come back with a newfound appreciation for monkey puzzle trees! Emilie loves discovering the beauty of the Scottish Highlands by heading out on walks and adventures, usually with a pair of binoculars in one hand and a camera in the other; she then likes to pick up a paintbrush and create watercolours of the wildlife she has seen.
