Excellent leaders , well planned walks,beauty , beauty, everywhere, comfortable accommodations, fabulous food and service, and fascination lectures by Sir Lister-Kaye. It's taken me a while to get round to writing this, as I wasn't reviewing on Tripadvisor in 2010 when we did the Nature's Child week at Aigas. Three years later, I can still say it was the best holiday we've had. Our boys were 9 and 7 at the time and they still talk about that week. The highlight for the boys was the visit to the pine marten and badger hide - the pine marten did everything but tap dance for us. The rangers were fantastic with the children (and the adults!) and were great role models - my now 12 year old is still determined to work as a ranger at Aigas. The boys really learned to notice things around them during that week, and the effect of that has lasted. We will take them back when they're a bit older for one of the other programmes. Our third stay at Aigas & I don't think it will be the last! If you like wildlife & scenery, you won't be disappointed. Sir John & Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye & their family & team go out of their way to make sure that guests have an enjoyable & interesting time. The centre isn't the same as a hotel, but it's charming. The garden is beautiful to wander around as is the wider estate.
