Will grew up close to the Peak District in Derbyshire. He studied zoology and ecology at university before working in range of practical wildlife roles, both in the UK and overseas. In 2024 and 2025 he worked as a Ranger at Aigas Field Centre. He currently spends winters working at the South Georgia Museum, and summers back in the Highlands. Here he enjoys exploring the human and natural history of the area during days guiding at Aigas.
