The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

We visited Aigas at the beginning of May, and enjoyed an unforgettable week. Everything about our visit was superb, the accomodation (not that we spent much time in it), the cuisine, every meal was a treat, the rangers whose knowledge of not just wild life, but local history, geology, and even an insight into local folk lore. The days we spent out in the company of the rangers were excellent, with many excellent sightings oif wildlife, the most enjoyable being the black grouse lek. We visited Aigas at the beginning of May, and enjoyed an unforgettable week. Everything about our visit was superb, the accomodation (not that we spent much time in it), the cuisine, every meal was a treat, the rangers whose knowledge of not just wild life, but local history, geology, and even an insight into local folk lore. The days we spent out in the company of the rangers were excellent, with many excellent sightings oif wildlife, the most enjoyable being the black grouse lek. Just returned from our first trip to Aigas, and it certainly won't be our last! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and are so grateful for all that we saw and shared. We were unbelievably fortunate to see so much wildlife; certainly set a very high standard for future trips! Loved being so close to dolphins, pine marten, badger, woodpeckers and too many other birds to mention. Beautiful countryside too. The wonderful welcome extended by our hosts, Sir John, Lady Lucy, and Warwick was beyond expectation and made the experience extra special. The food was amazing. Particularly grateful to Lucy for catering so well for my dietary needs and for the wonderful birthday surprise she created for my husband James - special & heartfelt thanks for that. All the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help, and in terms of the rangers/education staff, they were so incredibly knowledgable and eager to ensure all the trips/etc were maximised. We enjoyed our little cabin too and the tranquility of the whole place; also, for the most part being away from emails, TV, Internet, etc, it was lovely escapism. It's hard to find suitable words to adequately express just how much we loved our time at Aigas, suffice to say that we miss it, and can't wait to return. Huge thanks again to everyone who helped give us such a fabulous time.

I just wrote a wonderful review on the Aigas Facebook site but lost the connection so here I am. I just visited Aigas Field Center last week. The experience was magical! From the welcoming staff to the wonderful beautiful home and grounds. I came with Road Scholar and loved every minute of the trip to the Scottish Highlands. Sir John and Lady Lucy made us feel welcome and were superb hosts. The grounds were beautiful and so was the home. The garden was breathtaking and the accommodations were cozy and very well kept. The experiences on our road trips to see the sights were enhanced by professional, knowledgeable and personable rangers as well as Academic Placement Students from University.We interacted with the stunning lands of the Highlands on comfortable mini buses. Individual needs were always taken into consideration. On the Aigas grounds we had opportunities to see animals in their natural habitat. We learned about the endangered Wildcats and witnessed Badgers and Pinemartens at night in hides( small sheds with windows) I was utterly impressed with Sir John Lister Kaye for creating this environment and found him brilliant and quite funny. The meals were delicious and honored our dietary needs. Compliments to Lady Lucy and her wonderful kitchen staff. If you have the opportunity to travel with Road Scholar or on your own, consider a trip to Aigas Field Center.A perfect educational experience for children and adults. I miss being there and will cherish the time I spent there.Thankfully I have many pictures of this unique experience.
