This wonderful part of the Highlands is rich in wildlife, however without the skill and professionalism of the Aigas rangers it can be difficult to see. Because the rangers are excellent we had wonderful views of Golden Eagle, Crested Tit, Osprey, Pine Marten and Wildcat. Our domestic needs were catered for in an equally splendid way by the staff at the Aigas centre, a warmly welcoming and comfortable base, with gorgeous food!

I am so please that I finally got to stay at Aigas Field Centre. I did the Walking and Wildlife week which was a wonderful experience. There is a lot of wildlife on the estate including badgers, deer, pine martens and Scottish wildcats which are part of a breeding programme. We saw birds and other wildlife on the walks too.Sir John, Lady Lucy and their daughter Hermione were great hosts and were extremely hospitable. Everything is very organised in terms of meal timings and excursions. They will cater for different diets. The staff do a fantastic job and are on top of everything. The rangers are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic - it was a pleasure spending time with them. I would highly recommend staying at Aigas Field Centre - other guests seemed very happy with their experiences too. Many of them had been several times before. I hope to visit again in the future.

From the time you arrive until you leave you are treated like family, royal family by Sr. John and Lady Lucy. The cabins in the woods are cozy and well appointed. The meals, mostly prepared by Lady Lucy are so wonderful you don't want to leave. A purchase of her cook book is a must! It is a beautiful central location to just enjoy the environment or to take day trip which they will arrange for you. Don't miss the wild life siting in the Hide House or the readings by Sr. John, a naturalist and author.
