it was with trepidation that I embarked on my first solo holiday. I needn't have worried as I barely realised I was on my own. I saw British wildlife up close without the intrusive element I had feared. I saw birds that I had not seen before. The guides were all so enthusiastic and knowledgable and every moment of the day from early morning till late at night is potentially filled with activity if that's what you want. A truly memorable stay in a beautiful place hosted by a wonderful family.

For the third year running I have enjoyed a great week at Aigas - this time with a friends group. The staff went out of their way to give us a really enjoyable week. The Pine Martens were rather shy but we had very good sightings of Eagles, other raptors, Red Deer, Seals and Dolphins, Aigas's own Scottish Wildcats as well as a host of birds.

Spent 6 nigyts at Aigas last week. The guides were great covering a wide variety of topics around wildlife and the history of the areas though which we passed. We visitited lots of places where they tried to find the wildlife we wanted to see. They varied the itineranry to suit us. The moth trap was really interesting. The evening hide which was lit for photography was stunning and we saw badger and pine marten on each of the three nights we used the hide. We only saw one crested tit and no crossbills which was a shame. The accomodation was great and we could have self catered if we wanted to - but the area for eating inside the house was socially distanced so we didn't need to. From a Covid perspective we felt very safe and everyone was following guidelines etc.
