The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

Truly one of the most incredible holidays I have ever had. Every day was filled with well-planned trips to beautiful places. Complete with guides who were very knowledgeable about all of the aspects of the highlands: history, geology, flora and fauna, and how it is all interdependent. The feeling of do love and appreciation for all of the natural wonders of the highlands was contagious and I feel that it will ever remain within my spirit. The accommodations were very well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The grounds and gardens were so beautiful, so tenderly card for, and the food was exquisite! Absolutely nothing here was below an excellent score!

I visited Aigas on a Road Scholar program, called Walking in the Scottish Highlands. During our week of field trips guided by knowledgeable and friendly rangers, I gained insight into the cultural and natural history of the Highlands. We studied the floral, fauna, geology and history while hiking on the property as well as on field trips across the Highlands and also learned about forestry and ecological restoration. Our hosts shared their home graciously with us, the food was delicious, the cottages very comfortable and quiet and I enjoyed the freedom of just walking about the grounds birding and botanizing on my own. The young team of rangers were well organised, cheerful and extremely knowlegable about the local wildlife and history of the region. They made each daily outing a fascinating event. Rather than being on the fringes of hospitality, Sir John and Lady Lucy were very much in evidence each day to ensure we were well fed and part of the 'house party' atmosphere of their beautiful home. I certainly hope to return and thought it was worth every penny of the not insignificant holiday cost.
