The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

Staying in the grounds of Aigas House is a wildlife treat in itself. The accommodation in timber lodges and surrounded by beautiful scenery was only the start. The young team of rangers were well organised, cheerful and extremely knowlegable about the local wildlife and history of the region. They made each daily outing a fascinating event. Rather than being on the fringes of hospitality, Sir John and Lady Lucy were very much in evidence each day to ensure we were well fed and part of the 'house party' atmosphere of their beautiful home. I certainly hope to return and thought it was worth every penny of the not insignificant holiday cost.

I have had three exceptional experiences with Aigas. First was a memorable week-long guided tour of the Western Isles. The next was an informal stay at Aigas Field Centre with a friend. Last summer I took my granddaughter for the week long "Nature's Child" and it was a perfect week with such thoughtful care and attention from everyone. Being at Aigas is rather like being pampered by a loving and congenial extended family. The accommodations were very comfortable, the food was memorable and the well-planned and presented activities that encouraged children to grow closer to nature were outstanding. I could go on and on about the good things, starting with everyone who makes Aigas such a special place. The only flaw I can think of is that the wonderful Aigas' experiences make me long to return.

Last summer I took my granddaughter for the week long "Nature's Child" and it was a perfect week with such thoughtful care and attention from everyone. My week at Aigas so dramatically exceeded my expectations that I am still dazzled by it. I have, quite simply never experienced anything like it. First of all it is a family home and you are welcomed like long lost cousins. Secondly everyone who works there seems to love it - remarkable enough - but they are also real experts. Thirdly the place is very beautiful in a lovely Highland glen. Fourthly it has a dazzling array of wildlife on site - beavers, otters, pine martens, ospreys, red kites, red squirrels, golden eagles......on and on the list goes. And finally, as if to cap it all, we learned so much and we had such fun. What more can I say?
