The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

This was the first time we had really done any kind of wildlife watching since we were children, and we were very apprehensive about standing out and coming across as idiots. On the contrary, the rangers were so engaging and so patient in helping us to use binoculars, how to identify different birds and really help to build our confidence and enthusiasm. We were given really helpful tips fo the best time and places to spot the beavers and had some very successful hide visits, also seeing the pine martins and wild cats, as well as a host of red squirrels and a young greater spotted woodpecker who was beautiful The food was exception and whilst we were initially hesitant about communal meals, these quickly became the highlight of our time there and Lady Lucy and Sir John were the perfect hosts.

Excellent experience. Staff are without exception relaxed and approachable in every regard. If the Pine Marten wanted to be elusive Sir John stepped in to make hide visits a highlight, whatever turned up with us... The young ranger team display a knowledge and approachability way beyond their youth, and their enthusiasm was infectious. Wearing an Aigas gilet I was approached by local members of the public, who expected me to be knowledgable and helpful. That tells me more than just plaudits from customers.. Just go, you will enjoy!

If the Pine Marten wanted to be elusive Sir John stepped in to make hide visits a highlight, whatever turned up with us... The highlights of the week were the day spent in the Western Isle, especially Hillbillies bookshop and Inverewe Gardens and the day spent on the Black Isle – with the visit to Foulis Castle being the highlight of the day. Don’t forget to take some time out too to walk around the loch and the grounds of Aigas itself. As for the accommodation – we have stayed in the usual cabins but we also paid extra to stay in the Round House this visit and it was fabulous.
