Programmes By Date - Aigas Field Centre

We went for the Highland House Party Week and we were in a group of 13. We visited alot of places during the week visiting historical buildings and watching wildlife. The week is busy but very enjoyable a must if you visit the Highlands. The rangers are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to help in any way they can. The food which is included in the prices is good home cooking and tastes lovely. My favourite was the homemade mushroom soup and venison casserole. All diets are catered for.

This was a really intense week of studying nature and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and rangers who strived all the time to make the experience a fantastic one. From watching beavers in the hide on a balmy evening to a 5.15 search for otters on the Moray Firth every skill was deployed to get good sightings of all that the Scotland have to offer including great views of birds of glens and sands!. Food delicious and comfy ensuite room with our own little kitchen made for a really enjoyable week. Only problem was there were not enough hours in the day to fit everything in!

Lord and Lady Lister Kaye and son were very welcoming and sat with us for pre dinner drinks. Food was exceptional on every occasion. I honestly cannot think of any negative comment - even the Scottish weather was kind to us! I would highly recommend this holiday for anyone interested in birds and wildlife and beautiful scenery.
