The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

The future of wildlife is in our hands. At Aigas you can experience the joys and the excitement – and the wonder – of wild nature.
Scenery was beautiful; mountains, farm land, multiple lochs, streams and waterfall. We toured various historic sites close to Aigas in addition to walks around the property. Saw some wildlife (3 types of deer), small dolphins, various shore birds, raptors and red squirrels. At Aigas went to their hides ( blinds) to view animals. Saw a pine marten and Scottish Wild Cat. They are part of a large conservation program working to restore the wild cat population in the wild. A badger was seen on another night in the hide. The Aigas Rangers lead the day trips and other activities. All are very well educated as they explain historical events and sites as well as telling us about the natural environment and various plants and animals. All are very nice and able to answer questions. Meals were all at Aigas for the week I stayed and were very good.

Three years later, I can still say it was the best holiday we've had. Our boys were 9 and 7 at the time and they still talk about that week. The highlight for the boys was the visit to the pine marten and badger hide - the pine marten did everything but tap dance for us. The rangers were fantastic with the children (and the adults!) and were great role models - my now 12 year old is still determined to work as a ranger at Aigas. The boys really learned to notice things around them during that week, and the effect of that has lasted. We will take them back when they're a bit older for one of the other programmes. Oh, and Lady Lucy's food is delicious......

Three years later, I can still say it was the best holiday we've had. Our boys were 9 and 7 at the time and they still talk about that week. The highlight for the boys was the visit to the pine marten and badger hide - the pine marten did everything but tap dance for us. The rangers were fantastic with the children (and the adults!) and were great role models - my now 12 year old is still determined to work as a ranger at Aigas.
