The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

We stayed for a week in October and can't wait to book another holiday here. Lord John, Lady Lucy, Warwick, the rangers and guides and every member of staff couldn't have done more to make sure our holiday was as good as it could be. We absolutely loved the log cabins which were warm and cosy and totally in keeping with the ethos of Aigas - lots of space, everything we needed, a kitchen area with hospitality tray and a really comfortable living area for everyone to meet if they wanted, all set in the wonderful grounds of Aigas House. We went there for the Highland House Party week and had changeable weather but that didn't affect our enjoyment in any way. Every day was a different expereincve and we could wax lyrical for pages and pages - the food was wonderful and every consideration was made for special diets and likes and dislikes. The wildlife and scenery were really amazing and the whole experience was quite unlike anything we had experienced before. We cannot wait to return in 2014. If you have the chance to attend one of the open days - jump at it, you won't be disappointed

The ethics of the organisation are admirable with support of education on wildlife and conservation. Having spent holidays in Scotland over 40 years, and now lucky enough to live here, we still appreciated being taken to the best sites for seeing wildlife in this beautiful part of the country. An real bonus was the opportunity to watch badgers, pine martens and beaver from the estate hides. Excellent weather enhanced the experience, especially watching young golden eagles against a blue sky!

We stayed at Aigas Field Centre for 5 days in August 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities on offer: where else could you stay in a wooden chalet, eat wonderful food in a baronial hall and have professionally guided wildlife watching outings every day? The ethics of the organisation are admirable with support of education on wildlife and conservation. Having spent holidays in Scotland over 40 years, and now lucky enough to live here, we still appreciated being taken to the best sites for seeing wildlife in this beautiful part of the country. An real bonus was the opportunity to watch badgers, pine martens and beaver from the estate hides. Excellent weather enhanced the experience, especially watching young golden eagles against a blue sky!
My early morning walk (06.00hrs) was rewarded with almost every step - seeing the Red Squirrels chasing each other up & down the huge Sequoia Redwoods while the early blackbirds awoke numerous other song birds the list would be more than 25 without trying too hard. The estate grounds are huge with your very own loch to explore. My main objective was to reach the loch-side Beaver Lodge before they all retired for the day after feeding and home building during the early hours. Approaching quietly (nobody else was up yet) I spotted the young male Beaver chewing on his last "bread stick" a freshly cut branch from his favored Aspen tree. What a picture! it sure made my day but then again every day was literally made for us all. I joined my wife and the other birding group members for strong coffee served personally by Lady Lucy as was hot porridge for those wishing to "fill up" before the days adventures. Lord John - an expert naturalist - reminded us to note & report back any "special sightings" during his pre-dinner drinks visit. A Red Throated Diver; Black Throated Diver & Crossbill all on one day possibly impressed me rather more than him - but I am no birder. This mattered not as the fantastic group we accompanied were all very keen to share their knowledge and help us with identifying more than one hundred species during the week. Best of all was our Ranger/guide/driver/map-reader/tee coffee maker & most important qualified nursing "Tick" remover! Namely - Jenny Campbell. She was admired by us all so much that we all wanted to take her home but she would not leave AIGAS - which was no surprise.
