Programmes By Date - Aigas Field Centre

I am so please that I finally got to stay at Aigas Field Centre. I did the Walking and Wildlife week which was a wonderful experience. There is a lot of wildlife on the estate including badgers, deer, pine martens and Scottish wildcats which are part of a breeding programme. We saw birds and other wildlife on the walks too.Sir John, Lady Lucy and their daughter Hermione were great hosts and were extremely hospitable. Everything is very organised in terms of meal timings and excursions. They will cater for different diets. The staff do a fantastic job and are on top of everything.The rangers are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic - it was a pleasure spending time with them. I would highly recommend staying at Aigas Field Centre - other guests seemed very happy with their experiences too. Many of them had been several times before. I hope to visit again in the future.

Pond dipping, shelter building and treasure (bug) hunting are excellent fun. I was so impressed I took my daughter's pals to Aigas for her birthday a couple of years ago. They don't do birthdays as such but we hired a ranger and had use of the Magnus Magnusson centre to have our nosh. The kids had a brilliant day and parents and kids alike were encouraged to participate. All in all if I could give 6 stars I would.

Fantastic week. This was our 4th visit to Aigas. It was a superb Landscape photography with Laurie Campbell, his tuition was great and the rest of the group was very supportive. Aigas is memorable and magic and the welcome is brilliant from the hosts Sir John and Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye. Food just wonderful. Warwick Lister-Kaye and the Rangers are so knowledge and helpful. Fantastic week. This was our 4th visit to Aigas. It was a superb Landscape photography with Laurie Campbell, his tuition was great and the rest of the group was very supportive. Aigas is memorable and magic and the welcome is brilliant from the hosts Sir John and Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye. Food just wonderful. Warwick Lister-Kaye and the Rangers are so knowledge and helpful. Wildlife is unbelievable. A very memorable week.
