I spent a fabulous week photographing wildlife and landscapes under the watchful eye of Laurie Campbell. I enjoyed close encounters with an amazing range of Scottish wildlife and the hospitality was second to none. My photography improved significantly within a very short space of time and I would highly recommend Aigas and this programme to anyone with a deep love of natural history and an ethical approach to its management.

We visited Aigas at the beginning of May, and enjoyed an unforgettable week. Everything about our visit was superb, the accomodation (not that we spent much time in it), the cuisine, every meal was a treat, the rangers whose knowledge of not just wild life, but local history, geology, and even an insight into local folk lore. The days we spent out in the company of the rangers were excellent, with many excellent sightings oif wildlife, the most enjoyable being the black grouse lek. Last but not least, our superb hosts, Sir John, Lady Lucy, Hermione & Greg, from the first moment we were made to feel so welcome. Many thanks, Kathy & Rae

We visited Aigas at the beginning of May, and enjoyed an unforgettable week. Everything about our visit was superb, the accomodation (not that we spent much time in it), the cuisine, every meal was a treat, the rangers whose knowledge of not just wild life, but local history, geology, and even an insight into local folk lore. The days we spent out in the company of the rangers were excellent, with many excellent sightings oif wildlife, the most enjoyable being the black grouse lek. I spent a week here and loved every minute of it. Cabins were spacious, warm and comfortable with a lounge and kitchen attached. Food was outstanding, especially when I have food intolerances. Some meals were made especially for me and this was much appreciated. Covid restrictions were in place and adhered to rigorously making me feel safe. The rangers were full of knowledge, very helpful and cheerful. The various hides for pine martins, badgers and squirrels were particularly good. Being autumn ,the landscape was very colourful with the trees changing colour and the visits out in the minibuses were superb. Sit John and lady Lucy were superb hosts and should be very proud of their place.
