The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

We stayed for a week in October and can't wait to book another holiday here. Lord John, Lady Lucy, Warwick, the rangers and guides and every member of staff couldn't have done more to make sure our holiday was as good as it could be. We absolutely loved the log cabins which were warm and cosy and totally in keeping with the ethos of Aigas - lots of space, everything we needed, a kitchen area with hospitality tray and a really comfortable living area for everyone to meet if they wanted, all set in the wonderful grounds of Aigas House. We went there for the Highland House Party week and had changeable weather but that didn't affect our enjoyment in any way. Every day was a different expereincve and we could wax lyrical for pages and pages - the food was wonderful and every consideration was made for special diets and likes and dislikes. The wildlife and scenery were really amazing and the whole experience was quite unlike anything we had experienced before. We cannot wait to return in 2014. If you have the chance to attend one of the open days - jump at it, you won't be disappointed

They told us Scottish lore (witch trees!?), explained the history of battles, castles, subsistence farming, and remnant Caledonian forest. We had time to wander among ruins of churches, castles, and graveyards, and to imagine what life was like so many years ago. We wandered through gardens and forests, along rivers, and past waterfalls. Bring your bug spray (for midges), curiosity about history, and wonder about the natural world. You will not be disappointed.

We spent a week here with a program hosted by the Lister-Kaye family and their team. The food is fresh, organic, delicious, and nicely presented. Each comfy cottage has a private bathroom. Our hosts were competent and welcoming. We enjoyed daily excursions to surrounding areas to learn about Scotland's history, heritage, clans, and natural environment. They told us Scottish lore (witch trees!?), explained the history of battles, castles, subsistence farming, and remnant Caledonian forest. We had time to wander among ruins of churches, castles, and graveyards, and to imagine what life was like so many years ago. We wandered through gardens and forests, along rivers, and past waterfalls. Bring your bug spray (for midges), curiosity about history, and wonder about the natural world. You will not be disappointed.

We were given really helpful tips fo the best time and places to spot the beavers and had some very successful hide visits, also seeing the pine martins and wild cats, as well as a host of red squirrels and a young greater spotted woodpecker who was beautiful The food was exception and whilst we were initially hesitant about communal meals, these quickly became the highlight of our time there and Lady Lucy and Sir John were the perfect hosts.
