The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

Aigas is the perfect natural playground for a family. Where else do you have otters, beavers, pine martens and a wealth of birdlife all in one place? I felt complete freedom in letting my children roam and explore the natural wilderness there and make their own remarkable discoveries.
Wildlife (beaver, pine marten, badger, birds and flora galore) at its wildest was what I anticipated and Aigas did not disappoint. The graciousness of out hosts, wildlife writer Sir John Lister-Kaye and Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye was most welcoming. The bright young expert rangers (George, Duncan, Kate, Imogen, Allie, et al) took us on wonderful walks and were expert in locating the various fauna (esp. birds) and views of the glens for us to enjoy. The meals (breakfast, lunch (usually, a packed lunch to take along), tea and dinner were very fine, prepared by Lady Lucy and served in the beautiful home in which they live. The cabins in which the guests stay are nearby and more than adequate.

We spent a week at Aigas as part of a Road Scholar program and had a wonderful experience! The programs were carefully presented by Sir John Lister-Kaye and his carefully selected Rangers. The accommodations were rustic but comfortable and the food, overseen by Lady Lucy Lister-Kaye, was delicious and locally sourced. It was an incredible learning opportunity that we highly recommend. If you want to learn about the history, geology, biology and culture of the Scottish Highlands, you will not find a better way to do so.

If you want to learn about the history, geology, biology and culture of the Scottish Highlands, you will not find a better way to do so.
