Alex is a passionate conservationist with a deep love for nature. Growing up on a farm in Dartmoor, he developed a strong connection to the outdoors. With a BSc in Conservation Biology and Ecology from the University of Exeter, he has gained a variety of experience in environmental education, wildlife conservation, and communication. Alex looks to blend natural history, folklore and activism to inspire others to connect with nature and change our relationship with it. These aims are supplemented with pursuits such as wild food foraging, hiking, music and creative writing. All of this feeds a deep curiosity about what it means to be in reciprocity with wild spaces, and how this connection shapes our role within ecosystems.
