The hosts at Aigas were Sir John and Lady Lucy Lister Kaye, he a naturalist and writer and she a gardener and superb cook. Both were gracious, welcoming and most informative. The rangers who drove the vehicles to take us to Scottish places of interest were very capable and kind. Scotland,in the Highlands is bewitching. Was not surprised to find the weather too cool and wet. Out of ten days three were sunny and the sky blue. Those three days were a surprise. A traveler comes prepared. The cabins we stayed in were fine. Each room had its private bathroom. All meals, teas and talks took place in the manor house. Three fine dogs were a bonus.

The Lister-Kaye family and staff are so welcoming and helpful Not only are the rangers well qualified In their chosen field, but knowledgeable about the local areas visited, as well as being delightful company, able to multi-task, and with good social skills. I will be returning for a third visit in 2016, and also joined an Aigas trip to Costa Rica. That speaks for itself.

The Lister-Kaye family and staff are so welcoming and helpful Not only are the rangers well qualified In their chosen field, but knowledgeable about the local areas visited, as well as being delightful company, able to multi-task, and with good social skills. This was our third visit to Aigas and again we were not disappointed. We were on the 'Summer Birds' programme and saw over 100 species of birds during the week along with some mammals and reptiles. Once again the rangers who led us gave us interesting information and were excellent of spotting birds. Our most memorable viewing was of a female golden eagle and two chicks in the nest. Sir John and Lady Lister-Kaye looked after us well. The food was superb in all respects. If you have even a vague interest in wildlife this holiday will delight.

This was our third visit to Aigas and again we were not disappointed. We were on the 'Summer Birds' programme and saw over 100 species of birds during the week along with some mammals and reptiles. Once again the rangers who led us gave us interesting information and were excellent of spotting birds. Our most memorable viewing was of a female golden eagle and two chicks in the nest. Sir John and Lady Lister-Kaye looked after us well. The food was superb in all respects. If you have even a vague interest in wildlife this holiday will delight.
