Programmes By Date - Aigas Field Centre

We were with a Road Scholar tour and enjoyed a delightful day at Aigas. The history of the grounds, the beauty of the gardens, the delightful lunch, and most of all the kindness and caring by the Lady and her daughter Hermione. The gardens are stunning with flowers, bushes, sequoia trees and much more. So peaceful and such a commitment to conservation. Everyone in our group loved it.

As soon as I drove into the car park to be met by a smiling ranger I had just the best time. The food was excellent, all requests catered for without problem. The rangers were great company, very engaging and informative and although I knew the area a little they showed me places I had never seen before. The mini-buses were roomy and comfortable and we were well looked after with stops for drinks etc. Accomodation was clean and comfortable, no single supplements either. By the end of the week I had logged more than 80 species of bird and lots of mammals including a whale and fabulous views of otters. The company was varied in terms of age and wildlife experience but we all got on together. i just had the most relaxing time and can't wait to go back!

If the Pine Marten wanted to be elusive Sir John stepped in to make hide visits a highlight, whatever turned up with us... The young ranger team display a knowledge and approachability way beyond their youth, and their enthusiasm was infectious. Wearing an Aigas gilet I was approached by local members of the public, who expected me to be knowledgable and helpful. That tells me more than just plaudits from customers.. Just go, you will enjoy!

Excellent experience. Staff are without exception relaxed and approachable in every regard. If the Pine Marten wanted to be elusive Sir John stepped in to make hide visits a highlight, whatever turned up with us... The young ranger team display a knowledge and approachability way beyond their youth, and their enthusiasm was infectious. Wearing an Aigas gilet I was approached by local members of the public, who expected me to be knowledgable and helpful. That tells me more than just plaudits from customers.. Just go, you will enjoy!
