The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

We went for the Highland House Party Week and we were in a group of 13. We visited alot of places during the week visiting historical buildings and watching wildlife. The week is busy but very enjoyable a must if you visit the Highlands. The rangers are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to help in any way they can. The food which is included in the prices is good home cooking and tastes lovely. My favourite was the homemade mushroom soup and venison casserole. All diets are catered for.

We went for the Highland House Party Week and we were in a group of 13. We visited alot of places during the week visiting historical buildings and watching wildlife. The week is busy but very enjoyable a must if you visit the Highlands. The rangers are knowledgeable about the area and are happy to help in any way they can. Scenery was beautiful; mountains, farm land, multiple lochs, streams and waterfall. We toured various historic sites close to Aigas in addition to walks around the property. Saw some wildlife (3 types of deer), small dolphins, various shore birds, raptors and red squirrels. At Aigas went to their hides ( blinds) to view animals. Saw a pine marten and Scottish Wild Cat. They are part of a large conservation program working to restore the wild cat population in the wild. A badger was seen on another night in the hide. The Aigas Rangers lead the day trips and other activities. All are very well educated as they explain historical events and sites as well as telling us about the natural environment and various plants and animals. All are very nice and able to answer questions. Meals were all at Aigas for the week I stayed and were very good.

Lord John and Lady Lucy are fantastic hosts and all the staff and rangers are extremely professional and helpful. The highlights of the week were the day spent in the Western Isle, especially Hillbillies bookshop and Inverewe Gardens and the day spent on the Black Isle – with the visit to Foulis Castle being the highlight of the day. Don’t forget to take some time out too to walk around the loch and the grounds of Aigas itself. As for the accommodation – we have stayed in the usual cabins but we also paid extra to stay in the Round House this visit and it was fabulous.
