I highly recommend the field centre. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and personally shown to our accommodation. We stayed in the Roundhouse which was amazing. The food was lovely from breakfast the packed lunches and evening meals. The experiences we had with the knowledgeable rangers and the hides was exceptional. I would not hesitate to stay here again

I was lucky enough to be invited to a surprise 90th Birthday afternoon tea at this beautiful house yesterday. We were warmly welcomed by Lady Lucy and shown into a lovely sitting room complete with comfy sofas and a roaring log fire which was a real treat on such a wet afternoon.A round table was set for tea in a window with views over the colourful garden. A glass of Champagne was poured when the Birthday girl was shown in then followed by the most delicious and beautifully presented afternoon tea anywhere.Aigas Field Centre runs courses on many subjects including painting, sketching, birds, day trips to interesting places and more and our 90 year old friend has been a regular visitor there for years calling it her home from home. Thank you Lady Lucy for giving us the insight yesterday as to why she loves it so much and if you can find time to add afternoon teas for the general public to your repertoire I am sure they would be a great success.

I spent a week at Aigas primarily to bird watch and enjoy the nature. The gardens, walks and the whole plantation is lush with vegetation, lakes and many paths for walking. The cabins were very comfortable and clean and the main mansion is in itself beautifully kept and open to guests all the time. Every evening before dinner there are free drinks and the food is home cooked everyday by Lady Lucy and her staff. The rangers are a group of lovely young people who are very knowledgeable about everything and are very helpful nothing is too much for them. They always have a smile on their faces. I have only good things to say about Aigas and spent a wonderfully magical week there.
