The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. Alternatively, you might like to look at a tailormade holiday and create your own itinerary.

A week at Aigas is a magical time for those interested in wildlife, especially if you're a keen photographer. Where else can you see and photograph pine martens, red deer, dolphins, seals, migrating geese and salmon, fungi and wildcat in the space of a week? A big thank you to workshop leader Laurie Campbell whose knowledge, patience and skill knows no bounds. Nothing was too much trouble for him to ensure that everybody got the maximum out of our week in the highlands. He was ably supported by the brilliant team of enthusiastic rangers at Aigas HQ, along with hosts Sir John, Lady Lucy and Warwick. I have already booked my return visit in 2014.

A week at Aigas is a magical time for those interested in wildlife, especially if you're a keen photographer. Where else can you see and photograph pine martens, red deer, dolphins, seals, migrating geese and salmon, fungi and wildcat in the space of a week? This was my second holiday at Aigas and was just as good as the last. I did the Wild Revival programme last year which was full of enjoyable experiences. I have taken up some of the crafts we covered - last Christmas everyone got candles! Having seen how much other guests enjoyed the Wildlife programme I did that this year. The rangers took us all over the place looking for golden eagles, otters, dolphin........... The only animal I wanted to see and didn't was the white-tailed sea eagle; perhaps I will see them on my next visit. As usual the food and accommodation were wonderful. Lucy runs a very good kitchen and tries hard to cater for food allergies, likes and dislikes, etc.. The main thing I enjoy at Aigas is meeting the other guests who are, without exception, friendly and like-minded. I travel alone but never feel alone or left out. I can be alone when I want to and mix when I want to. Another great point for solo travellers is that there is no single supplement.

It is an unforgettable week of Wildlife Sightings and learning about the many and varied aspects of conservation and the AIGAS' involvement at this most pressing and important time. The holiday itself could not have been better. The Lister-Kaye family, the Rangers and all the Staff went out of their way to ensure we were well catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, the food delicious, packed lunches, afternoon tea, drinks-all just right and very welcome at the end of very full days. The RANGERS - a more friendly and pleasant bunch of young people would be hard to find. Their knowledge was wide- ranging and informative.
