The Aigas season begins in April and will finish in October. We are running more programmes than ever to cater for a wide variety of interests. If your holiday with us is dependant on dates, please search the calendar below to find out what is on during your preferred dates. As a group, 15 veterinarians visited Scotland to investigate Herbs and tour Scotland through an Eco-tourism trip. Everyday was filled with learning and investigating the environment, ecosystems, history, and the beauty of Scotland. Plan ahead and find a theme week that you enjoy and learn decorum in the Victorian Home of a Lord and Lady.
This was our third visit to Aigas and again we were not disappointed. We were on the 'Summer Birds' programme and saw over 100 species of birds during the week along with some mammals and reptiles. Once again the rangers who led us gave us interesting information and were excellent of spotting birds. Our most memorable viewing was of a female golden eagle and two chicks in the nest. Sir John and Lady Lister-Kaye looked after us well. The food was superb in all respects. If you have even a vague interest in wildlife this holiday will delight.

The Lister-Kaye family and staff are so welcoming and helpful Not only are the rangers well qualified In their chosen field, but knowledgeable about the local areas visited, as well as being delightful company, able to multi-task, and with good social skills. I will be returning for a third visit in 2016, and also joined an Aigas trip to Costa Rica. That speaks for itself.
